The Federal Ministry of Education has launched a probe into the allegations of sexual harassment against Queen’s College teacher, Olaseni Osifala by a parent.
New Telegraph reports Tony Akuneme, media aide to the Minister of State for Education, Prof. Tony Onwuka as saying that directors of the Ministry had arrived the school since last weekend to investigate the claims.
The school management and the PTA have
joined forces to investigate the matter. The report also stated that
the authorities of the college yesterday invited the police to probe
allegation. The school, which reported the matter at the Sabo Police
Station, Yaba, sought to know the identity of the accuser. The accused
teacher is billed to visit the police station with the school’s
principal, Lami Amodu.
In a telephone interview with the New Telegraph Newspaper
correspondent, Osifala described the development as the antic of his
enemies.
